At Grounded Intention, I help you release what no longer serves, rebuild trust with your body, and discover strength that truly supports you.

Awareness

Body-centered exploration that reveals how your system is organizing itself. We notice patterns of holding, compensation, and effort. Not to analyze them, but to understand what your body has been relying on to function.

Nervous System Support

Support that helps your body move out of stress responses and into states where transformation is possible. Over time, your system learns new options and no longer defaults to tension, shutdown, or push-through patterns.

Strength

Strength is built once protection no longer leads. We develop capacity that integrates new coordination and support, allowing movement to feel organized, responsive, and adaptable. This strength carries into daily life, not just exercise.

Misson

My work is rooted in helping people understand how their bodies adapt, protect, and change. Many arrive with pain or persistent patterns, not because something is wrong, but because their body has learned ways to function under stress, injury, or demand. I work with the body as an intelligent system, supporting it through movement, bodywork, and nervous system–informed care so new options can be learned, integrated, and sustained over time.

This work is not about fixing symptoms. It’s about creating the conditions for the body to reorganize itself in ways that support how you move, feel, and live.

Hey, I’m Jess

I created Grounded Intention because I believe movement can be a path back to yourself.

I spent years pushing for perfection in movement and life, ignoring the signals my body was sending me until I burned out. Slowing down taught me that true change happens when we learn to listen, not when we force ourselves to push harder. Now, I guide others in reconnecting with their bodies and themselves, blending movement, somatics, and nervous system practices to support healing and resilience from the inside out.
